Emergency Extractions

When a tooth is severely damaged or infected, a gentle extraction is often a good way to stop the pain. We put your comfort first, and can discuss replacement options (implants, dentures) once you have healed. Some of what we provide:
-
Severely decayed and/or fractured teeth
-
Most impacted wisdom teeth
-
Infections/abscesses
Chipped or Broken Tooth

Whether it's from a puck to the face or biting on something too hard, a broken tooth can be alarming. We use tooth coloured materials to restore the look and shape of your tooth, often in a single visit. We can repair:
-
Jagged or sharp edges
-
Cosmetic bonding on front teeth
-
Breaks from accidents (sports, work, etc)
Root Canal Therapy

Don't lose a tooth if you don't have to. If the nerve inside your tooth is infected, a root canal removes the infection while keeping your tooth intact. It is usually no more uncomfortable than a standard filling. Signs you may need one:
-
Deep, throbbing toothache
-
Extreme sensitivity to hot and cold (e.g. even when breathing cold air)
-
Swelling of the gums, or a "pimple" shows on the gums beside a tooth
Lost Filling or Crown

If a restoration falls out, your exposed tooth can be very sensitive and prone to damage. Do not try to superglue it back in. If it's a crown, keep it safe and bring it with you - we may be able to recement it! What to do:
-
Keep the area clean
-
Avoid chewing on that side
-
Call us as soon as you can so we can seal the tooth.
